The light from the west

A dull, muggy, warm day gave way to a ten minute spectacular sunset. Luckily I was driving home from Schull and managed to veer into the side of the road, put on the hazard lights and blip away. it was actually taken from more or less the same spot as this - obviously a good time and place for sunsets.

So far one bird has visited our deluxe bird feeder at school - a crow, the rest are conspicious by their absence. Early days.

The latest cards have just arrived and all look good - always a relief. A nice reviving cuppa with TJ and skim through. Now a lot of bagging up has to be done.
