All the fun of the Fair

A day out in Southport, with Emily, middle son, DiL, Olivia and Isabella.

We met up in the car park by the Pier, walked over to the outdoor play area, as we were too early for the Fun Fair, which didnt open until 11am!

Pleasureland (!!!) beckoned, where we bought the required passes so the girls could go on the various rides.

We all had fish & chips for lunch, followed by more rides (sedate ones!!) then stalls where we played throwing balls to race your horse, we didnt win, but the girls won prizes on hook a duck!

The last ride of the day was the Log Flume!
As you can see hub, son, Emily and Olivia loved it...but ended up very wet!!!!
In extras you can see the girls and DiL on the Runaway Train, and Olivia driving her dream car ;-))

We walked up the promenade late afternoon, so we could have a coffee & "five minutes" ;-)
Then back to the cars.....Isabella fell asleep so had to be carried, she was bushed!!!

We all drove toward home and met up with daughter for tea in a local pub.........after another couple of hours playing outside in the beer garden it was time to go our separate ways.

What a fun filled day......tiring, think the little ones slept all the way home, oh, and son too probably ;-)
