great expectations

Up early and got organised for the day ahead. Met up in Les Pilles and went straight to Sainte-Jalle where we walked the dogs in the sunshine (this was the view!). Went wine tasting at the Domaine du Rieu Frais and came away with 8 bottles of the stuff. Easy company and conversation.

Got home and took a walk down to the garden to see the remains of the summer's produce - just some parsley, a few beetroot and the artichoke plant remain.

Back to the house for dinner - sucrine du berry and bacon tart followed by pavlova...with the wine of course.
