Not goal

Landing out on the fifth and final task of the Long Mynd round of this year's BOS. Yes, the sky looks great, but wasn't quite what it seemed even here.

Difficult to locate and core thermals on this one and the crosswind added to the difficulty. Forgetting to fully apply vb on what turned out to be my final glide lost valuable height. I ended up low over very nice landing fields, with a weak one drifting quickly towards not very good landings. Played it safe and put the glider down in this magnificent huge field.

Goal would have been nice, but it was great playing in the wispies of the clouds and I could easily have landed a couple of times earlier without persistence.

A brilliant round, thanks to MC, PC, and all the retrieve drivers and everyone who made it possible.
