Launchable?

Today we demonstrated the superiority of our hang glider machines over paragliders. For the majority of the day we both sat on the hill waiting for signs of lift and / or a breeze up the front. We however had shade :-)

A first gaggle of birds thermling out front saw me clipping in along with GR. Missed it but I then went for a sailplane circling, unfortunately sinking out on route. Landing was ... technical. Back up to launch in time for the next gliders to launch but a similar fate.

In the end GR spotted a second gaggle of birds in a thermal but this time was ready to go. A few others closely followed and JN was able to get up and join. Knocking on for the end of the day and the sky still worked for over half way to goal. As a bonus, J and myself following as retrieve in the car, we collected and made it back in time for food at the pub and very pleasant evening.
