Home again

We arrived home yesterday afternoon, at least four of us did: Mr MC's sister and her husband journeyed on to Singapore for a few days, before they return to their home in Sydney.  The temperatures here in the UK remain extremely high and our house does not have the benefit of air conditioning!
My quick blip today is of the crocosmia which grows (rather too) abundantly in our garden: the droplets are not from rain(!) but from the sprinkler.  In case you wonder, there are currently no hosepipe bans in our part of the world - yet!
