Summertime

It's been a hazy day with smoke drifting up here from the California wildfires. The sun was bright red a minute ago, at 8 pm, but it didn't take long to fade away and to even slide down out of sight. The days are getting shorter, but hearing doors slammng, dogs barking, people walking by, talking - it's still summer.
