Juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker

I haven't exposed may electrons to today.  Mainly squirrel shots and birds at the feeders.  This young Great Spotted Woodpecker appealed most from the few shots I took.

As yet it hasn't moulted into adult plumage so it is impossible to sex.  If the red stays on the back of the head then it is a male, if all red goes then female.  I hope this one gets a territory which includes our garden.  The adults are off at the first sign of movement while this one never moves as we walk about the room pick up the camera etc.
