Today it's all about wheels .....

...... hundreds of them thundering round the streets of Glasgow as the cyclists took part in the Women's Road Race.

St George'sTron Church, in Buchanan Street, had its railings decorated with gold, silver and bronze wheels .... from a distance it was hard to distinguish between the bronze and the gold but they made rather a nice feature.

The French team had a bit of a warm up before the crowds arrived ... some tricky corners particularly the sharp right turn from Argyll Street into Buchanan Street.
