Tamarack Gold

The last vestige of color in the woods of Southeastern Michigan belongs to the Tamarack Pine. Unique among evergreens, it is the only needled tree to change color and lose its needles in Autumn. Here it is in all it's glory. Such a gray day. If the sun comes out before it loses it's needles I'll blip it again.
Day 13 diet: 14# down. So far went from 39" waist to 34". Pants no longer fit, and I've drilled a new hole into my belt. Tired though.. ;->
