Grand Prix de France

Luckily it is only good news from home. All dogs have settled in their holiday homes. It is good to know after yesterday's scare.

Today has been long, busy and warm.

36 degrees C outside and probably a lot warmer in the hall.

I have judged 55 routines in the French Dog Dancing Championship and it has been hard work, but of course exciting too. I am very tired now though.

The warm weather has been a problem today - a lot of dogs didn't seem very excited about having to perform in the warm hall and we did disqualify one team as the dog just looked too uncomfortable. It wasn't fair to ask him to perform.

Anita (Swedish judge) and I came back to the hotel at 8.30 pm (13½ hours after we left) and we managed to get new rooms as the air con didn't work in our original rooms and the night was just horrible hot.

This is one of the Junior Handlers with her sheltie at the Grand Prix de France. This team performed really well - it was a super routine from a very young handler.

Bedtime soon.
See you tomorrow
