Finally asleep

Travel days are never easy when you have a little one in tow and today was no exception. We spent the day in airports or in airplanes and finally - FINALLY - AJ fell asleep in my arms and slept for the last 90 minutes of our trip home. Poor little pumpkin was exhausted . . . and so was her mommy!

Note to self with relation to travel in the future . . . pack less toys/books (she'll just want to play with the magazines/brochures in the seat pocket anyway) . . . upgrade to a bulkhead seat or purchase a seat for her (we were given a free seat on the trip to Hawaii but there wasn't space on the trip home so she was on my lap the entire time) . . . and just take it one minute at a time!
