Lindisfarne

We walked across to Lindisfarne today. You can walk safely across the bay at certain times, when the tides are right. Follow the markers and hope you don’t need the refuge! The island unfortunately didn’t feel too “holy” as it was very busy and touristy. But the walk there and back, about 12 miles in total, was lovely. Got wet feet but seeing the hundreds of grey seals on the sandbars was exciting!
