Back home after 4 days in Northern Michigan.

Food for 4 days...Who keeps track?
Gas for 4 days...Who knows?
2 tickets to the Deer Ranch (and carrots to feed them)...14 dollars.
1 night camping (in the back of the van) and firewood at P.H. Hoeft State Park...30 dollars.
2 tickets on a tour boat through the Soo Locks...40 dollars.
2 nights lodging at Mackinaw City motels...190 dollars.
Chance to spend 4 days with my grandson Merrick, including two trips to a small waterfall...Priceless.

10 p.m., and I've got 2200 pictures to go through...so I'm going to bed. I've got an early morning wake-up call, so I'll back-blip and probably post a Flickr page.

It was a great mini-trip with just us two boys.
