Here be dragons - Not

This photo of teasel is here in place of nothing at all. I’ve really struggled with photography today and very nearly didn't blip anything. I am really fed up with this lens. It teases me and fools me into believing that it is working and then goes into full refusal to focus mode. It’s got to go.

We were supposed to be on a dragonfly walk today, but not a single dragonfly came out to play. The weather was dull, wet and windy. Even the teasel was difficult to photograph. 

I'm sure I will be in a better mood tomorrow. :-) 

I don't mind the rain as we need it, but I want the wind to go away. It caused some damage to my house yesterday, and I need to get it sorted before I go away on Friday. Have you ever tried to get builders and roofers in as a matter of urgency?
