And down came the rain

After nine weeks of intense heat and drought conditions, the first of the rain came on Friday. We had a thunderstorm while I was planting up the new plants that I had bought, and then it rained heavily for about an hour. This unusual experience was quite exhilarating. I expect it's how people feel when celebrating the monsoons in India.

Yesterday was another dry day but overnight it rained heavily. Today it has not ceased and the temperature was only 16C this morning. I am already fed up with the constant rain and hope it will stop soon Come back sunshine, all is forgiven. The plants have had enough water now.
