Who is this in my garden?

There is a lot of symbolism attached to the Garden Gnome. Apparently they are considered very good luck, they serve to protect and were once a symbol of fertility.

The name "gnome" stems from the Greek word "genomos" meaning "earth dweller".

Shame they have such a bad press. I like my inherited gnome and hope he likes living in our garden.
