Deep shade

After church as usual the congregation made their way to the village square for coffee.  After a busy day yesterday, I decided to spend the afternoon in the deep shade of the neighbour's vine with my book.  My evening walk was truncated by a thunderstorm which had been threatening for an hour or so but I got back just in time to see the end of the Tour de France.
