Jam weather

A poor day weather wise.  Gales, thunder and lightning, rain, rain and more rain!  But - it wasn't cold, so that was a blessing!  Before the weather deteriorated the pontoon in the bay was towed away when I wasn't looking, so no photos of it leaving.  Very nice having just sea in front of us once again.  And lots of waves today too!

A morning of jam making using neighbour Ruth's blackcurrants.  They made 13 jars of the stuff!  The smell was delicious!  We already have gooseberry and strawberry jam, and there will be blackberries to come, so we will always have something to put on our bread, and to give away as little gifts to folk.
