The Offending Drive

This is the inside of my old hard drive, which caused me so much trouble a few weeks ago when it was warning me it was about to fail.

I must be getting sad because as emergency blips go, this took ages. This is a 41 image stack, automated using Helicon Remote to control the camera's focusing steps and then using Helicon Focus to stack the resultant image. It's a clean shot (i.e. I haven't photoshopped in the binary code), which is why the digits are backwards as it is a reflection from a printed page.
