Foodie Fest

Jordan and Archie went away through the Hermitage. It's an ideal doggie walk, in the shade, with lots of water. It was a hot day - Jordan even had to wear his shorts! They saw buzzards. Well, Jordan did.

In the afternoon we had planned to walk across to George Square to visit the Foodie Festival, but it was just tooooo hot, so we took the bus. Buses are now jam-packed full, and very hot and sticky, and will be till the end of August.

The Foodie Fest was super, as usual. A great set up, with loads of tempting caravans, huts, horse boxes - anything to serve food, wine and beer from. Plenty of seats, deck chairs and umbrellas. We had a Pad Thai each, and then an ice cream (Extra 1). Yum yum. JR thought she was back in NZ for a brief moment. (Extra 2)

It was even hotter when we were set to return, so bus back it was, and one just arrived as we got to the bus stop. (I love that!) Anyway, Archie had had a big walk, JR had been to the gym, and I couldn’t be bothered. I came home and had a snooze on the sofa.

I may be able to rouse myself to go out this evening a look at the Blood Moon...

EDIT: Went up the hill, along with dozens of other folk, but not a peep of moonlight. Too cloudy!
