Colourful workhorse

The work boat, the MV C-Fenna, has been working on the pontoon in the bay for the last few days, from early in the morning until late at night.  You can even see sparks from the welders in the dark!

I've been keeping an eye on it, knowing that it will be going soon and I want to get a photo of it leaving.  So far as we know, it is going to be an extension for the pier to accommodate the new ferry, when it arrives.  The Fenna is 26.48m in length, so that gives you some idea of the size of the pontoon!

At first it was a blot on the seascape, but over the months we have got used to it.
