Another Day Of Travelling

Today we went to see Mrs madwill's mother in Darlington…but today we were accompanied by our daughter and granddaughter! I drove our daughter's car which has working air conditioning - so the journey was much more pleasant than it would have been in my car.

MIL was very pleased to see her granddaughter and great granddaughter ( as well as her daughter of course ).

We went to a pub for lunch and then food shopping for MIL.

Back to her place for tea and cake and then home to our house..Jessica was exhausted and slept most of the way.

Thunder storms and some rain around this evening, we have had a few sharp showers but nothing persistent - yet.

I photographed the thistles in the wood early this morning - managed to catch a hoverfly approaching too!

After yesterday's suspicions about asbestos in the school, confirmation appeared overnight, a large asbestos skip has been deposited in the playground..see extra
