Another Frustrating Day

After another early walk with Finlay, we went back to Doncaster with Jessica - the intention being to fill her newly decorated, and now carpeted, room with furniture.

I was hoping to bring you photos of the assembled bed and units - sadly however it was not meant to be.

The delivery arrived and as I was unpacking it noticed that one of the pieces was damaged. Sadly it is about the biggest piece and central to the whole construction. Not a mark on the box but it had smashed though the thin polystyrene packing inside. We couldn’t even begin to build the bed without this piece.

The manufacturer cannot get a new part to us until Friday.

So we went out for late lunch and a wander round Dunelm! Slightly less traumatic than the big blue Swedish warehouse…

Feels like a complete wasted day and journey.

So instead of a lovely new bedroom you have a photo of the hazmat portal at the local primary school. I am guessing they have found asbestos there… I took this on the way back from the dog walk!
