Fashion Avenue

Big day today... G had her six-month check-up with her oncologist, so we set off to the Clinic which is a 90-minute drive away. We got there via a slightly different route, checking out the E44 south as the government want us to use this road more.

G was in and out in no time! All good till next year, so as we had a bit of time, we called in at Dubai Mall to see the newly opened Fashion Avenue. It is a stunning area dedicated to top end luxury brands and has to be experienced. There are works of art spread out and plenty of seating for when you need to take a rest.

For some reason, G's DSLR just wasn't coping well with the colours. There seemed to be way too much light and it wasn't picking it up very well.

We had a few hours at home before going out again, this time to Wafi, to meet up with the new SA Officers. We had a nice chat and meal and were home before 10pm! There's no chance of any grass growing under their feet; they are out and about discovering everything! :)

And it was very interesting to watch this news report about something very close to my heart!
