Float Your Boat

I was up just after 6am getting the bedrooms ready for Rach and the girls arriving tonight, as we had a vets appointment after work - nothing wrong, just their annual health check and vaccines.

It was a complete waste of time going to work as our whole system has been down all day and I couldn't do a thing, I only had about 3 phone calls too!  Steve connected his iPhone to the computer on reception as the problem was actually with the internet and our system backs up to the cloud, so at least reception was fully functioning which was the main thing.

At lunch time I went for a walk at the beach and it was so hot, there was hardly a breeze, I can't imagine what it would be like inland today!  These people had the best idea having anchored their boat just off the shore - its a nice looking boat!

As the internet still wasn't up and running this afternoon, Shaughan told me to go home at 3.30pm, only half an earlier than normal, but it was better than nothing, they couldn't really tell me to go much earlier as they hoped the problem would have been sorted.  Anyway, I had time to sit in the hot tub, although it's not that hot, I've set the temperature to a very pleasant 32 degrees, the one at the gym is set to about 40 degrees which burns your bum!

The boys were fine at the vets and this is the first time we've come away not having to pay as I now pay into the Pet Health Club every month and their annual vaccines and 6 monthly health check are included.

We're now waiting for the girls to arrive, they left at 3.30pm when Rachel picked Scarlett up from school - they only finish this week because they had an extra week at the end of May, beginning June.  Anyway, they got to Beaconsfield Services on the M40 at 6.45pm and were stopping for something to eat, so I expect they'll get to us by about 9.30pm.  Scarlett and Violet are very excited!
