Quillan

This is the pretty little town of Quillan in the foothills of the Pyrenees. It was very hot this afternoon when we walked up to the remains of the old castle above the town.
The red terracotta roofs are typical of the old houses in the area. The river Aude flows through the town which is visible in today's extra.
