Cabane

Today was a very hot day, but we decided to cycle across the peninsula to a little fish restaurant in Port de Talais. Unfortunately we didn't get our act together, and arrived just after 2p.m. when they stop serving!
We have been meaning to visit this place for a while, so it will now have to wait a little while longer.
Instead we cycled a bit further up the coast to the lovely Kayak cafe that I blipped about a fortnight ago. There was no problem getting a late lunch there.
It was 34 degrees and it took a lot of water to quench our thirst. Although very tempting, it was decided that wine in the heat of the day was probably best avoided.
On the way I stopped for this photograph of these fishing cabanes. I have blipped them before, but they are a fairly unique part of the landscape round here. This one had it's fishing net, or 'carrelet' slung out in front.
