Don’t wanna get ahead of myself

Even at nighttime, even in the rain, the garden is beautiful.

Tonight’s recipe was rhubarb curd.

I’m troubled by it. It did exactly everything the recipe said, but when I put it in the bowl the butter separated. I ran off most of it and whipped it up again. It has to cool before it is jarred .. but am not sure.

I had a nap when I came in tonight - I was overcome with sleepiness. I moved the hammocks from the end of the couch (yes they are still there. It was too damp at the weekend) and I snuggled into his lap.

My boss looked at the pile on my desk today and said ‘it’s not going down any is it?’ And I sighed and said ‘nup’


It will tomorrow tho - and in other news. My courgette cake went down a treat
