The Bridge is Up

A normal Saturday morning when my partner is not here. The first lot of washing is on, so all I have to do is hang it up, and put the second lot on. Also deal with the grocery delivery and bike maintenance.

After lunch i head down to a cycle shop for a new saddle for my commute bike, and to see what they have for cycling drink. They have an energy drink on offer, so I get a tub of that as well.

I walk down to the canal from the bike shop to get a few shots. From Edinburgh Quay, I can just see that the Leamington Lift Bridge is up. The boat is one used to dredge weed from the canal. I walk down to the bridge, but by the time I get there, the bridge is down., so people can walk across it.

I walk up to Viewforth. On the way I pass a seagull which doesn't fly off, it just gives me the eye. I take my shot and then go to get coffee and cake in Morningside before getting the bus home (which is after visiting a couple of charity shops, and a supermarket for evening snacks).
