Autumnal

I had a lie in - until 5:30 this morning. Still got this bloomin’ cold!

Out with Finlay at 6:30 and we were both done in after half an hour as it was so humid. I did notice a lot of trees have leaves turning brown already, and the squirrels were shelling beech nuts and dropping the cases on to us below.

We met up with daughter and granddaughter for coffee at J27 M62 - and then headed for the dreaded blue Swedish furniture warehouse. Stocking up on stuff for granddaughter’s new bedroom.

A jolly couple of hours spent trudging around… then more coffee and back to our place.

Granddaughter is staying with us for a couple of nights as the carpet is being fitted in her room tomorrow…
