In Argyll ...

The water and the land are all of a piece.

This morning we went along to Ardchattan Priory and Gardens (see extra for the herbaceous border). What a lovely garden - just the kind I like. Obviously well cared for but not manicured. And right on Loch Etive. The ruined 12th century priory was interesting too. The light was tricky though and I'm not thrilled with the photographs I took.

After a quick lunch we went out to the private Isle of Eriska. Although owned by a hotel and spa set-up the staff there were happy for us to walk in the lovely grounds and down to the shore where we could see back to Lismore. My blip was taken from the bridge over to the island looking towards Loch Creran which is where I presume this yacht was sailing.

Now back in Connel where Cameraman is preparing for work tomorrow and I'm having several cups of tea with my feet up.
