Benefits

I thought there was a flock of sulphur crested cockatoos in the big gum tree down the back. 

Turns out they are little corellas. 

I've never seen them this close to the house before.  They are a huge pest in agricultural areas.

The only benefit is that I happened to have my "big" camera handy with the long lens already attached, and quite by chance got a couple in flight just as they were decamping.  Must have been at least 50 of them.
