In 388 kilometres, take the first..
..turn to the right.
We left Wilcannia about 8.30am. It isn’t wise to go earlier as the wildlife is still moving around. Today I saw thousands of kangaroos but not as many as yesterday. We travelled to Cobar which is a copper mining town with more than a few streets and by afternoon we came to Nyngan where we were required to turn right.
These shots show the vast country and drought, no water in the dams and no crops in. The farmers usually plant in April to May but no rain has come and now it is a bit late.
Tonight we are in Dubbo and will reach home tomorrow.
