Left By The Farmers For The Owls

A lovely dog walk with my friend K this morning, up the hill out of Bishop Wilton and across the tops, it was really lovely with some splendid views. I love the lone trees, which I was told today are left by farmers for the owls, I really hope that is true.

While I was working China, I had a phone call from my brother, who is on holiday in Crete with his family and my dad, to say Dad has been taken ill with fluid on his lung and is in hospital. He was trying to make arrangements for Dad to be flown home as he needs an urgent operation. After a lot of telephone calls we have managed to sort it and they are flying this evening and he should be in hospital by the morning.
