There Was No Need For These Umbrellas

Thank you for all your good wishes for my Dad. He and my brother arrived back in the UK in the early hours and he was taken straight to hospital. He has fluid on both lungs and one had collapsed. He is being looked after really well and they have spent today stabilising him ready to drain his lungs tomorrow. He is feeling much better already and we are all happier knowing he is in the right place to be looked after. As there was no point in me travelling to North Wales today, I will go across Tuesday to see him.

This afternoon we went into York as we had some shopping to do. It was buzzing, full of people and with The Yorkshire Fringe Festival in full swing there was so much going on with street food and bars and buskers everywhere...luckily there was absolutely no need for these umbrellas with today’s blue sky.
