Beauty is all around us.

Gawthorpe Hall and Towneley Hall.

The weather remains close and cloudy and a more bearable 22c.
It is 27c in Croydon where some of my dear close family live and they have great need of rain.
Paul and me decided to visit Gawthorpe Hall, on the left side of the photo, in Padiham, near Burnley. It is very beautiful and peaceful with many old trees gracing the grounds,
The image of a Victorian garden has re appeared there more vividly this year, due to the drought.
National Trust volunteers were there measuring it and adding to their information. There are currently no plans to re create the garden, but if it were possible, I think it would make a great addition to the beauty of Gawthorpe.
Then we drove on a little further to have our lunch at Towneley Hall.
The gardens were looking amazing and well tended.
The Off shoots permaculture project, in a corner of the gardens, is always a joy to see and the flowers and fruit trees were all coping marvellously.
I hope the hose pipe ban can be avoided.
The squirrel was very tame and looking for food.
Have a lovely evening blip friends.
