Checking On The Neighbourhood

I flew off to Washington DC again today. Last trip before my summer vacation.

Normally on takeoff I don’t see my neighbourhood. Even though we often take off to the west, the flight path usually has us turning north somewhere after Slough. Today we kept going and I got a great view of my neighbourhood - the parks, fields, woods and lakes where I like to walk. I can even see my house!! More or less!

Everything looks SO dry out there! We really need rain!
