Trying It Out

I was back home from Washington this morning. Actually, we were three hours late which was a bit annoying, especially with only one night at home before heading off again tomorrow. There was time, however, to nap, unpack, do laundry, repack, and do a few other chores.

Finally I was able to relax in the garden, and so I tried out my new firepit (blipped a few days ago)I love it - and once the flames died down to coals I roasted some marshmallows and made s’mores - using the new thin chocolate covered digestives which I found to be perfect for the job.

We desperately need rain, though. I may not use the firepit again until we’ve had a good soaking.
