Butterflies

Having spent time on an abortive attempt to photograph a Dragonfly I thought I would struggle to find anything to Blip.

However as we returned home along the wood edge there were a number of butterflies enjoying the warm weather. The best was this Peacock but I was pleased to see a Holly Blue. I have never seen one before as they tend to prefer southern Britain (see the extra). I initially thought it was a rather pale Common Blue until I researched it on the web. It nearly made the main but wasn’t quite as good an image as the Peacock.
