New Cafe!

Looking for a venue for a family lunch we heard of a new cafe, at Penicuik House. There was no information on the internet so naturally we had a recce to check it out. It is so new that today was the first full day of trading and, starting small, is not yet serving meals, however, the coffee and cake are excellent.
We burned off a couple of the resulting calories with a walk down to the low pond, pausing to count tiny froglets in the Water Willie fountain and those escaping all over the dry paths.I wonder how many will provide supper for the geese and crows.
