This month this hat celebrates it 29th year of being in my possession.
It was made in Guatemala, and I bought it in a street market in Amsterdam.
It has been with me on every trip abroad. To more than 30 different countries and provinces and protectorates around the world. From as far west as the bottom south west corner of Mexico to near the border of Thailand and Myanmar.
