Take off!!

The forecast for today was good so we had decided a trip to the coast was in order, before it gets too busy ;-)

We headed to Southport, via Tastebuds in Rufford, for breakfast and coffee first :-)

We parked up on the promenade, then walked up the pier, sat just looking out across the bay.
On our way back up the pier I stopped, as usual, to see who was on the skate park...luckily for me this rather gangly young man was honing his skills. Pretty pleased with this shot :-D

We walked our usual route, but then took ourselves off behind Lord Street, into the main shopping area, in streets we hadn't really explored before. We found a couple of nice looking coffee shops to try out on our next visits too ;-)

A walk back to the car, around the lake, among the dunes, sandals full of sand, but who cares!!

An easy drive home, back before 5, some quick watering, then a dive in the shower, hairwash, make up, dressed and out the door for 6.30 for a meal pre quizzing. Our neighbours choice this time, we went si, which is always good in my book :-)

Didnt make top three this week, didnt win play your cards right either, roles over and it will be £900 next week......that would be a good win :-)))
