Celebration

It was a red letter day today. His Lordship’s daughter took us to Gleneagles for afternoon tea to celebrate our forthcoming 20th wedding anniversary in the hotel where we spent our honeymoon all those years ago.

It was a lovely day to bowl through the Perthshire countryside and then to enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel not to mention the feast of sandwiches and cakes on offer.
It says something for our collective fortitude that we managed to consume more than most other people present, but we still came home with some very posh looking ‘doggie bags’.
I’m hoping that the contents will survive for a blip tomorrow.
