Getting There
Too much work today to look for any kind of decent Blip
They've made some progress with the demolition though. Loud progress mainly. And the bloke in the cherrypicker with the hose spends most of his day looking at his phone and giving the dust a desultory skoosh. It can't be the most exciting job in the world.
I know how he feels. Except I don't spend my day staring at my phone. I get to spend my day staring at code. And sometimes that code is more than 20 years old and what it does is not actually documented. And I have to figure what it does and why it does it. It can be quite frustrating. And confusing. Especially when you get lots of phone calls interrupting your train of thought. And it's over 28°C at your desk.
It's hot here. Really, really hot.
And I hope I can go to bed at 9:30 again. That was great. Sleeping until 4 before waking up for the first time. That's almost unheard of.
PS You might be interested to know that they moveed the portaloo quite a way away from the demolition. You can see it on the far right.
