Bridge of Allan
Wednesday's walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers was a relatively short (for a Wednesday) affair of around 11km, just over six miles. It was a linear walk from Dunblane to Bridge of Allan and we had the added (optional) bonus of a Fish Tea, complete with ice cream, at the end.
We met up in Bridge of Allan and took the bus from there to our start-point in Dunblane. The route back to Bridge of Allan is relatively straightforward but we took quite a few twists and turns along the way to extend the walk to a reasonable length and make it even more interesting. Although the weather was overcast when we set out, it became warm and bright before too long.
