Birthday lunch

Today was the long awaited birthday lunch at school day! Phoebe met us at the school office at 12 o’clock and led us to the dining hall. She was so excited to show us where to collect our cutlery and tray and to line up for the food. She was so proud to have us there and she was beaming from ear to ear.

I let Alexander get his food himself as practice for September. He did really well and even carried his loaded tray back to the table. The food was yummy, ham and cheese pizza with salad. We were joined by Phoebe’s best friend and ‘boyfriend’ at the table and we all had a natter about how their morning was going. Phoebe then showed us where to stack our plates and where to put our dirty cups and cutlery.

We had a lovely time and so nice to spend a special lunch with my girly.
