A good life

When I can come and spend a day here, I often think I’m lucky to lead the life I do. While Kw8 isn’t my most favourite of places to live, life at the Club makes it much more liveable.

A nice morning with C and A, then an exercise class with colleagues, a coffee and a swim. Despite the temperature being in the high 40’s (or possibly unofficially higher) it was nice to have a day outdoors after working 21 days straight. It’s my choice to work weekends for extra cash, but two days off was much needed.

Dinner in a local Chinese with colleagues was fun, as was hunting for discounted chocolate in Marks & Spencer. Such is the excitement of Kuwait on a Friday night...
