A bejeweled heart

I had never seen these flowers before, they were part of the seeds I sowed to get flowers which attract bees and butterflies and have started to flower last week. Their name is coreopsis tinctoria  or golden tickseed, in Dutch they're commonly called Meisjesogen = Girls' eyes. I just love the details of their hearts, only visible through a macro lens, this heart makes me think of a very intricate brooch.
