Dazzling Blue

It was one of those perfect Summer mornings (blue skies, fluffy white clouds, warm breeze) so we thought we'd take a bike ride outto the Nature Reserve at Ham Wall. It was remarkably quiet and peaceful with very few people about.

One of my musical heroes, Paul Simon, is playing his last gig in England tonight and I was listening to his So Beautiful Or So What album over breakfast; my favourite track from it was in my head as we cycled round:

Spent the afternoon watching the Wimbledon Men's Final followed by the World Cup Final. A shame Kevin Anderson couldn't reach the heights of his previous two matches but it was fitting to have an entertaining finale to what has been a wonderful World Cup
